Custom business systems, built around how you work.

We build custom software to simplify manual processes in your business. That could mean managing quotes, jobs and invoices, or replacing a repetitive task that takes up too much of your day. We plan it with you, build it in stages and hand it over in your name.

Signs your business needs a better system.

Most businesses grow on whatever tools were to hand at the start. A custom system is worth a conversation when a few of these sound familiar.

  • You are struggling to keep up with invoices and who has paid.
  • Too much of the week goes on copying, checking and chasing.
  • Customers keep asking where things are up to.
  • Jobs, quotes or orders slip through the gaps because nobody can see them all.
  • The business is growing, and so is the paperwork.

What we can build.

These are examples of what we can build. If your business works differently, we can plan a system around that.

  • Invoicing and payments

Numbered invoices, part payments and a clear view of what is owed.

  • Customer records (CRM)

Every customer, conversation and follow-up in one place.

  • Client portals

A private login where each customer sees their own work, files and next step.

  • Quotes and estimates

Quotes built from your own prices, ready to turn into a job when accepted.

  • Forms and approvals

Paper forms and email chains replaced by one form that reaches the right person.

  • Job and project tracking

Every job’s stage at a glance, from first enquiry to sign-off.

  • Stock and orders

Stock levels, suppliers and orders kept in one record.

  • Reports and dashboards

The figures you check every week on one screen, without copying them out.

Our own system, from both sides.

We built a client portal to run our own projects. We see what needs doing today, and each customer sees their own project and their next step.

Overview

Every day starts with one list of changes to action and setup tasks to check, beside a board showing where every project is up to.

How it works

How a custom system project runs.

1.

Talk it through.

Tell us how work moves through your business now, and where it gets stuck.

2.

Agree the plan.

We map the system with you, then put the approach, project plan and price in writing before any work begins.

3.

Build in stages.

You try each part as it is built, so it fits the way your team works.

4.

Hand it over.

You get step-by-step written guides, and the accounts it runs on are in your name.

Questions about custom systems.

Choose a question. Anything not covered here, ask on WhatsApp.

It depends on what the system needs to do. Once we have talked it through, we put the approach, project plan and price in writing before any work starts.

That depends on the size of the system. Your project plan sets out each stage and what you will be able to try at the end of it.

The domain and the agreed service accounts the system runs on are set up in your name, and your data stays yours.

Most systems need hosting and a database. Many of these services have free plans, and larger systems may need a paid monthly plan. The client portal we built for ourselves runs entirely on free plans, with no monthly costs.

Often, yes. If a tool you rely on, such as your accounting software or email platform, can share its data, we can plan the system around it. We check this before the plan is agreed.

New features can be planned and added later as a separate piece of work, quoted in writing like the first.

No. A system can stand on its own or sit alongside a new or existing website.
